Moon and Seasons Candle
Definitely a favorite here are Cernunnos Farms, this triangular pillar candle has a different moon phase and season associated with it on each side. The waxing crescent moon, first light of the moon following the new moon, shown with an apple tree in springtime signifying birth and rebirth. The full moon is shown with the apple tree with fruit in summer, representing the prime of life. Lastly, the waning crescent moon with its apple tree in the fall. Leaves falling from a mostly bare tree that is preparing itself for the long sleep through winter, embracing the decline into slumber that is required by all things before they can be reborn again.
The top of this candle is decorated with the triskele symbol discovered outside the burial mounds of Newgrange in Ireland. Celtic societies saw this as an enduring ancient symbol of birth, life and death.
